All in a Week’s Worth of Work
This title is probably an exaggeration. I didn’t do all this work this week, but I did work on these blogs this week…
We’ve been trying to create blogs for some of our trainers to help give them a voice online. I created the designs and now I’m in the process of hooking them up to Movable Type (which has been an adventure—more to come on that).
MARK SATTERFIELD
Out of all the trainers, mark is probably the most excited about his blog. He sent me a YouTube video of a kid breakdancing he was so excited.
He and his wife Christine just redid their family blog.
RICK HOWERTON
Rick has really sunk his teeth into Social Networking. Every time I see him, he tells me some awesome story about how he was able to connect with someone that he probably never would have, if it weren’t for some of these lovely services.
KIDS MINISTRY 101
This was a fun blog to work on. (As of right now) I’m going to be working on a lot of kids’ pieces in the fall (that I’m super excited about * hint * hint * Darrel *).

JASON HAYES
Jason works a lot with Threads. With the exception of Mark, he is already has a great handle on the way things are supposed to work.
The challenging thing about building out this blog was making sure that the background image scaled, the left side didn’t move, and I still wanted to use Blueprint (which is based on a width of 950px, not liquid).—more to come on this too
WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK
you do great work… thanks for making it so much fun and top notch!
